Heat Treatment Policy

All Lost Coast Forest Products firewood undergoes a controlled kiln-drying and heat treatment process designed to:

• Reduce moisture content to optimal burn-ready levels

• Meet interstate and international movement standards for treated firewood products

• Preserve the natural integrity and burn quality of the wood

• Meets all state and federal heat treating requirements regarding temperature and time of treatment process, per individual state and or federal requirements
